Taxpayers Paying for Congressional Vanity
Charles Rangel is taking 2.6 million dollars of taxpayer money to help build an academic center named after his favorite hero, Charles Rangel. Rangel is not the only one creating “vanity earmarks” nor is it just people from Rangels Party. There is for example the C.W. Young Center for Bio-Defense and Emerging Infectious Disease was dedicated at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md., last year named after Republican Congressman CW Young. Senator Byrd has his name on 36 different thing on his state, and in most of the cases there is something that seems wrong about the entire Process, Its one thing named after the retired or the dead ad if congressman Rangel would talk either of those two options, I would be proud to name something after him, but until that there is sleazy about the entire process…
